Who was Spider-Man 3’s Sandman?

In 2007, Thomas Haden Church (of the 90’s sitcom Wings fame) appeared as the villain Sandman in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3, starring Tobey Maguire. A cloud of what seems to be sand on the first official poster for “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” released Nov. 7, 2021, could signal the reappearance of Spider-Man 3’s Sandman in the new movie. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” debuts worldwide on Dec. 15 and in North America on Dec. 17, exclusively in your friendly neighborhood movie theaters.
